Service Description
Skin & Soul is a two hour, multi-layered beauty and wellness experience hosted by Iris and Jess of The Healing Room. This offering is a glimpse of the magick woven into our 1:1 sessions and 2:1 packages, an invitation to rest, receive, and reconnect. We begin by serving Flow State’s calming PM Mushroom Blend, followed by a gentle guided botanical oil cleanse. A cool aromatherapy towel accompanies this ritual, awakening your senses and inviting you into stillness. Iris will then guide you through a gentle meditation designed to activate your inner “glow state”. As the body softens, she’ll offer hands-on Reiki healing to ground your energy. Reiki healing is a gentle yet powerful practice that channels universal life force energy to restore balance and well-being. During this time, half of the attendees will receive a Gua Sha treatment across the face, neck, and décolletage by Jess, paired with our Woodland Glow Face Serum. Next, Jess offers a Reiki-infused sound bath using crystal singing bowls and Koshi chimes, creating a soothing soundscape that shifts your brainwaves into a deeper meditative state. This process, known as brainwave entrainment, soothes the nervous system, calms the mind, and encourages inner harmony. While the sound bath flows, Iris will move through the space, offering Gua Sha to the remaining attendees. As you gently awaken, you’re invited to stay for tea and chocolate, creating space to reflect, ask questions, and deepen your understanding of the experience. If you feel drawn to it, you can also pull a Tarot or oracle card, and connect with the community. All attendees will receive a goodie bag, including a voucher toward The Healing Room Packages with Iris and Jess. Yoga mats and bolsters are provided. We recommend bringing a pillow and a couple of blankets for added comfort. What to wear: A singlet or top that leaves the collarbones and shoulders exposed for the Gua Sha treatment. Please tie long hair back, we’ll provide towel headbands and gently drape your clothing to prevent oil from transferring onto your clothes.
