Returning to Courage · Vinyasa & Ritual

Service Description
Returning to Courage · Breath, Vinyasa & Ritual Kenkō x Embodyme seasonal series · led by Amy Atkinson As we move into winter, nature invites us to turn inward, to restore, slow and steady back into rituals that support the body's natural process of recovery and renewal. Courage is not always an outward expression of bravery or risk taking. More often it lives in the unseen decisions we make, the gentle tending to our inner worlds, and the small acts of care we give to our bodies and hearts. In a world that demands constant output, the most courageous and rebellious thing you can do is to ask "what do I need?" and lovingly give it to yourself. It rises naturally from your being when you establish an unshakable trust and safety with your whole self. Join us as we return to courage, an afternoon of care and a courageous honouring of the rhythms of winter. We'll begin with a warm cup of tea to awaken the senses, then move through an immersive afternoon of breath, vinyasa yoga, meditation and self-massage, exploring how these practices help us resource through the darker months, create a more flexible and tolerant nervous system, alchemise the density and darkness that can accompany winter into grounding and depth, and strengthen our connection to self so that courage can emerge from within. Led by Amy Atkinson, one of our much loved teachers, known for her strong and grounding flows that weave vinyasa yoga, breathwork, tantric philosophy, embodiment and instinctive meditation into a space where you can explore with curiosity and deep remembrance. Every guest receives an Embodyme Courage Body Oil (valued at $120), with its grounding scent of mint, ylang ylang and patchouli, and a guided sensory ritual of scent and touch. This is the first of four seasonal gatherings with Embodyme across the year: Courage, Kindness, Peace and Joy. $55 per person, including your take home Embodyme Courage Body Oil. What to wear: Comfortable clothing to move in. What to bring: Water bottle (mats and props provided)
