Kenkō Frequently Asked Questions

Is there changing rooms on site?

We encourage you to come ready for class - we do have bathrooms in both the studio and the courtyard if you need to change. Sadly we don't really have shower facilities on site (yet).
What do I bring to class?

We provide everything needed for a fulfilling experience, including high-quality yoga mats, blocks, bolsters, teacups, bands, Pilates balls and weights. Simply show up, no need to bring anything but a water bottle and optional sweat towel. For extra comfort in our restorative classes, we recommend bringing a cushion and blanket for Sound Baths, Yin Yoga, Breathwork and meditation.
Can I hangout in the Courtyard?

Feel free to linger in our serene courtyard anytime. Pick up a coffee or matcha from Benedicts next door, relax among the greenery, and use the courtyard restrooms as needed.
When should I arrive to class?

You’re welcome to arrive up to 15 minutes early, or right after the previous class ends, to get settled.
How to find Kenkō Studios?

We're located at 40 St Benedict's Street, Uptown Auckland On arrival, head through the black wooden gates and into the garden. You'll see black signs pointing you in the right direction. Move Studio classes are located up the very photogenic spiral staircase on the second floor of Kenkō Studios.
Can I book in person?

All of our bookings are made online.
Where can I park?

On-street parking is always free to the right of Kenkō and outside of working hours everywhere. To the left of Kenkō, there is paid parking (during work hours) and numerous parking buildings nearby.

Finding the studio for a class or service is easy!

On arrival, you will see black signs pointing you in the right direction.

Move Studio classes are located up the spiral staircase on the second floor of Kenkō Studios.

Services are located in the Well Studios on the ground floor, through the courtyard via the glass door at the front of the building.
